I'm Danish!

Went early from work yesterday to get a CPR Number (Danish personal Identification number)! We got there at 5pm and the receptionist said there were 5 in line before us. It took one hour...

We met a Swedish woman who were there for the same reason. She was nice. At 5.55pm (they close at 6pm) it was our turn. It went well so now I am officially Danish!:)

We had After Work with Hannah and Jenny at a cozy and nice place, called Apotek or something. Live music and beer/wine!:)

Meeting.

Today, I had a meeting with our neighbors who run a business where they make inspirational posters. They are really passionate about their business, and it is very fun to work with people who have a genuine interest in what they are doing. I will work for them a bit, don't know how much yet, but assistim them in marketing and communications ideas.

I also tried to write an article today, but it was just not a good writing day today I guess. That's life. Sometimes it flows, sometimes it doesn't. Went for a run instead, but that didn't went too well either. My legs felt heavy. New day tomorrow.

Tomorrow I will meet Petter in Lund, to discuss their social media strategy :) Looking forward!

Carl and I have a new favorite TV-show. A Danish/Swedish one - Broen/Bron. A little scary, but very exciting! When you have seen one episode, you really feel you want to see the next one, and then it goes on like that. We are using Netflix, but I think at least seaon 2 is available at some other streaming sites.

Danish vs me

Now we have spent one night here in our apartment. I slept very well :) Carl have to get up before 6 to take the "Novobus" to his job in Kalundborg. Nice deal!

Today I will pack up a lot of our things (starting with the clothes ;), and work with an article. Maybe also have time to explore Nörrebro a bit.

When we took the bus from the central station to Nörrebro yesterday I was happy that one destination was called "Rådhusplatsen". I understand and can pronounce that, I thouht. It's like Swedish! But no. They pronounced it "Rödhosplädsn". Danish-Maria 1-0.

The man who controlled the tickets at the train tried to make a joke for me. Since I was the one with our tickets, his joke was about if I REALLY want to pay for Carl too, otherwise he could kick him off the train. Since I couldn't understand a thing of what he said I instead thought something was wrong with our tickets. Not a successful joke. Carl had to explain what it was about. Next time maybe... Danish-Maria 2-0.

We met one of our neighbors yesterday. She seemed nice :) she asked us (in Danish) when we moved in. And I answered her!!! I kind of understood. Or I just took a chance on what she had asked, but it was correct so... Danish - Maria 2-1.
