Morning event!

At Malmö C. I could sleep a little longer today, since I'm going to an event that starts at 9am. "Måndagsboost" at Mindfloor here in Malmö. Today's topic of the lecture is how to get better meetings. My colleague Marie-Louise is joining :)

I love this weekend! Just being here by myself, spend 75% of the day in bed. Just what I needed. This week will be quite intense, but very fun!!! I'll attend a lecture in how to use Facebook in the "right" way for a company, 2 mingle events, and a photographer from Metro is coming to our office. And the article will actually focus on....ME.

 I'll tell you more about this later!!!

Waiting for Carl to get back to Copenhagen. But I hope it is not tooo soon since I have to clean up here from the mess I have created when he was away ;)

Exciting!

Good morning!

Hope you're fine!:) busy days now, but that's a positive thing! Nina contacted me yesterday about a thing that will be a bit scary but most of all very fun! This morning I got an e-mail with more info. Exciting! 

On my way to work now. Me and Johan(CEO) will have a meeting with a guy from a PR platform. Tomorrow I go to Skövde on an event. Have to get up at 4.30 so I think I will go to bed quite early tonight.....at least I should. 

Long day.

This has been a very long, but also a very good, day. Woke up at 7.30, went o Malmö without any problems. Went to the bank. Talked to a very helpful customer service worker. She helped me order a new VISA, the only problem is that they have to send it to Hudiksvall. Hopefully my mom can pick it up for me?

Went to Folk Å Rock for coffee and lunch. Suddenly, I see my friend Marcus (who I got to know in Umeå) walk by outside. Fun with unexpected meetings! He works for Egmont now in Stockholm, so he had a client meeting in Malmö today. It's good to have your eyes open, you never know who you will see and meet, wherever you are!

The meeting with Tim (sales manager at eFinance) also went well. We started planning for a marketing and launch strategy. Exciting! Billmate seems to be a great service. A brand who is trusted and has many customers already, even though the service is not officially launched yet!

After the meeting at eFinance, I went to Starbucks for the release party of Cathrin Frisemo's book about the digital work life. It was a nice event! Interesting subject. You can find my article and interview with Cathrin here.

On today's schedule: fix a new VISA card at the bank, meet eFinance and start with a marketing/communications plan, attend Cathrins release party at Starbucks. 

All this in my favorite dress! 

Business?

So today I got up at 4.20! It's not a joke!!! Had to be at Kastrup around 7 am, and I don't really trust the schedules for buses and trains here in Copenhagen. I was soooo tired. And I arrived at Kastrup at 6.50 or something. Tell you more about everything that happened later :)

Took a photo at the ladies restrooms (hehe).  The dresscode for the event was "Proper, but not too much business".

Absolut event.

I haven't done much things today actually. I have planned for tomorrow's event for Absolut Vodka at Kastrup, together with Towe who organises it. I feel a bit nervous, but I hope everything will work out well :)

I also sent my resume to Nina, who has promised me to give me feedback on it :) She's the best! Tomorrow I will also have the interview with Cathrin Frisemo tomorrow about her new book.

This afternoon before Carl got home from work, I decided to go out for a run. It didn't go so well. After 15min my knee started to hurt, and after 20 I felt that I couldn't run anymore. That's annoying. That I don't become tired but has to stop anyway :/

Busy day.

So today, I have done a lot of things! First, it was a breakfast event in Malmö at Mindfloor; Måndagsboost. Met many nice people, and we listened to a lecture about how sex, money and leadership are related/affected by each other. Interesting subject, and it opened up for many discussions and debates. Some people were critical to her focus and limitations in her focus and organisation. Interesting discussions! 

After the breakfast event, I had a short meeting with Nina before I went to next event. 

It was a lunch event with the business network BNI. I did not know what I could expect and it was an experience for sure! I am not so comfortble with talking of myself and what I am good at etc, but here everybody had to. So I presented myself, my job, my vision, my dreams, who I want to talk to for opportunities etc. Kind of different, but I think it is very good to practice at it :) Got some new contacts and have some meetings booked to discuss career and learning opportunities. 

THEN, I got another offer from an event agency to work as a hostess on wednesday. The company Absolut has an event in Sweden and many of the attendants are landing at Kastrup so I will be there, welcome them, show them to their trains, call cabs to them etc:) 

Busy day. Super tired now.

Very intense day. Got many new contacts, new events to attend at work at, learned a lot. Tell you more later. I really have to eat now!!
