Morning mingle!

Starting the day with a mingle event at Malmö stadion, with my colleagues Daniel, Daniel and Anders :) woke up at 5 so I guess I will be quite tired this afternoon, and tonight when we finally are moving... 

Have to build the bed (now it is an IKEA package), so we st least can have somewhere to sleep in our new apartment. 

Balance.

I am glad I have a job that I really like. I have fun at work. I guess it is a good sign that when you are home, you feel you want to stay there and when you are at work you feel the same. Is that to find balance between work and your private/personal life? 

Now we have signed the contract for our new apartment! We start moving march 2, and hopefully we can move in for real one week later!:) exciting. 

Malmö Opera.

Yesterday evening, Valentines Day,  Carl and I went to Malmö Opera. We saw the opera/musical Rebecka. I have been to some musicals with my parents but I think this is the first one without them. And now I really enjoy it! I really enjoyed the environment, the food, the show. Most people there were 60+ years old so Carl and I were among the very youngest. 

We had booked a dinner in the launch but the one who booked for us had done something wrong so we could not eat there. But they fixed so we could eat in the restaurant instead and it was actually do much better there! Very satisfied :D 

Today, we will go to IKEA to find a bed we can buy. And some other things :)

Friday!

Already friday?! A lot to do at work, I wish the days could be longer! We're having this After Work event tonight so I will fix with that whenever I get time for it during the day... 

Yesterday evening, Carls danish friend Ditlev joined us for dinner at our place. They met when Carl was an exchange student in Canada. 

On sunday, we're going to look at the apartment we are thinking of buying. 

Plans.

Carl and I move out from our apartment in march, so now we have started to look for another one. We plan to stay in Copenhagen since we really like, and want to see more, of the city. Buy or rent? 

Yesterday, dad called and told me that a relative (my grandmothers sister) had passed away. That's so sad. Dad is good at keeping contact and visit relatives, not only those closest related. 

Spend 1 1/2 hour on trains every day.

Family

My stomach is a bit better than yesterday, but not totally OK :/ I don't know what's wrong. It hurts like every 5 min. Carl and I read some material online yesterday, tried to figure out what it could be. Realized that if you are an hypochondriac, it's a nightmare to search online. It's always one or several symptoms that suits your specific case... but I guess I have been stressed or something. But it's weird...

Meeting with the boss today. Feels good to stay at eFinance :D During year 2014, we will all work really hard but it is fun! Exciting to follow our growth! We can see it very clear, and I think it will continue, even faster! I will really enjoy the christmas holiday, but I will also miss my colleagues, my Billmate family :)

Tomorrow, mom, dad and my brother Erik come to Copenhagen! We'll see how we will spend the weekend :) I haven't seen them since august so it will be fun to meet up again! On monday, we're going to Gothenburg to celebrate Christmas there! 

Morning event!

At Malmö C. I could sleep a little longer today, since I'm going to an event that starts at 9am. "Måndagsboost" at Mindfloor here in Malmö. Today's topic of the lecture is how to get better meetings. My colleague Marie-Louise is joining :) 

Exciting!

Good morning!

Hope you're fine!:) busy days now, but that's a positive thing! Nina contacted me yesterday about a thing that will be a bit scary but most of all very fun! This morning I got an e-mail with more info. Exciting! 

On my way to work now. Me and Johan(CEO) will have a meeting with a guy from a PR platform. Tomorrow I go to Skövde on an event. Have to get up at 4.30 so I think I will go to bed quite early tonight.....at least I should. 

Tomorrow...

Tomorrow, it is finally time for release! We - eFinance Nordic AB - launch our flexible, customer-focused payment solution Billmate! Now it starts for real! We are ready! (:

What am I doing at eFinance? Right now, I open up and fix with social media communication channels for our company, doing some market research, plan for a communications strategy, prepare for upcoming communications activities, and of course assist with everything that is needed at the office now in our hectic pre-release times! It's fun, and I really learn a lot!

I hope Carl gets home soon! I think we're going for take-out food tonight... !

The storm

I managed to take one of the last trains back to Copenhagen from Malmö. A big storm is here. During the day, I could not really see a storm was coming. Then, we heard at the office that many train departures were cancelled here in southern Sweden. Trains between Malmö and Copenhagen were not affected then, but later they cancelled all traffic there as well. I was lucky to get back I guess! 

When I came to Copenhagen, I met the storm. It was difficult to walk, since it felt like I could blow away. Jumped on the bus to Nörrebro, and felt that I was "afraid" to cross the street over to our apartment because of the wind. That the wind wasn't controllable. But it went well :) Carl also had some problems on his way home, but now he's here :)

Right now. I was lucky to get home!!

Trip

Good morning readers! Carl and I really got some quality time this weekend, so now we are ready for visitors again!:D My friend Rebecka comes to us on friday, all the way from Umeå!! What a friend! <3 really looking forward to the weekend! 

This week I'll spend much time in Malmö, since the release of our service Billmate is on friday (and the release party on thursday!:)

Interview.

Today, I went to Malmö to have lunch with Anna Ström who owns the company Gourmetbudet. I interviewed her about her business, and what marketing and communications activities/strategy she work after. I learned a lot, and now I "just" have to make an article of it :)

It was interesting to hear about her marketing, since she works a lot with loyal customers.  On keeping the customers she already has rather than market the brand to new potential customers where you need to do everything from scratch and make the brand familiar and such.

Birthday party.

So yesterday, we went to Malmö for Ylan's birthday party. Our friend Frida (his girlfriend) had organized a surprise party for him :) Cute! Jonas, Osman, Adam and Mackan "kidnapped" him while the rest of us made pizza and prepared for the surprise. When they arrived we played loud music and the party started. I don't think I have been to a surprise party before. It was fun :)

It was a great party!:) We had planned to leave at 10.30 (because both me and Carl are still a bit sick) but we left at least an hour later than that. Got back to our apartment very late.

Today we have both been very tired. Talked to my mom on the phone. She just got home from Bokmässan (book fair)  in Gothenburg. She fixed a signed version of 438 days (by Martin schybbe and Johan Persson) for me! I look forward to read the book. I like real stories, documentaries, biographies and such. It will be interesting to read their story about their time in Ethiopia.
