Preparing for Christmas :)

Hope you all have a nice 2:nd advent! I love christmas. However, since it is not snow here in Copenhagen (just a liiiittle) compared to Northern Sweden where I am from, I have not really this christmas feeling I usually have at this time. Trying to get it, so we'll see.

Yesterday, Carl and I went to Ströget since I had to buy a dress. However, when it comes to such things I am a real perfectionist and even though I went to every store that was open (which was MANY) I did not find a dress that I liked. Instead, I went home and ordered one online. Hopefully it suits me! Kind of difficult to see how it will look like on me since the model who wore it on the picture was 1.79 m tall (almost 20cm taller than I) and wore size XS. Kind of sick ideal.

We had lunch in Nörreport at Café Sommersko and I had this lovely goat cheese salad! Yummie :) Can really recommend it!

Yesterday evening we made "Mozartkulor". Or, Carl made them because I happen to cut myself in my finger (typically me!) so I could not do much. Not the dishing after either ;)

Snow?

Hello readers! It is sunny outside, and also a white layer on the ground!! Me like. I have been very busy with work for a long time now, but I'll try to write here at least once a day. Remind me!! :)

Yesterday evening, I went out with Hannah to the french restaurant Nice in Nörreport. We ate Moules Frites. Lovely! Read more about it here, in this good guide-to-copenhagen blog!

Today, Carl and I are going to the tourist street - STRÖGET. I really need to find a dress to the christmas party I'm going to with my colleagues on friday. Something red or something black? I have a picture in my head telling me exactly how I want the dress to look like. Haven't found it in any store yet. Hmm, we'll see. Have a nice saturday, everyone!

Nörrebro tips

I haven't been on so many cafes (Kaffebar), restaurants, bars, second hand shops and parks yet here in Nörrebro, Copenhagen. But I thought I could write a bit of those I have been to that I have liked :)

1. Café / Kaffebar

Cortado Kaffebar.
Located at Nørrebrogade 122. Here you can buy cheap (but good!) coffee, sandwiches, smoothies, cookies etc.
It is a nice environment and they have free wi-fi so you can work or study for example.

2. Bar / Restaurant

Sebastopol.
Located at Sankt Hans Torv in Nörrebro.
Nice, cozy bar/restaurant with a great selection of wine, beer, drinks. We did not eat there, but the menu looked very promising :)  We were there a saturday night and it was a nice atmosphere!

More info here: http://www.sebastopol.dk/

3. Second Hand
Prag
Two stores, in Nörrebro and Vesterbro.
They have a nice selection of clothes and accessories, and a mix of casual and party wear.
Affordable.

More info here: http://pragcopenhagen.com/

4. Park
Nörrebroparken.
Big nice park for a run, walk, or a picnic :)
