Reunion.

Going to town to meet Johan (+ Mina?:) that I havn't met since july. He has been away on exchange studies in Canada and I have, well, moved to Copenhagen. I think I will start missing Umeå now when many of my friends will be there this upcoming spring semester. 

Tonight, I'll have dinner at Texas with Mina, Camilla and Johan (another Johan). Looking forward! So great to have friends you can meet and have fun with even though you don't see each other more than like twice a year!:) 

Yesterday...

...What a great day! :) Woke up early and went to Söderhamn to visit Elin, Magnus, Liam and their new baby Filip. He was so cute!! And Liam really grows fast! I'm his godmother. Elin and I also went through pictures from when we were young ;) When we were between 14 and 18 or something. Times change, and I guess that's a good thing. What were I wearing? Skirts could really not be too short at that time.... gosh! But feels good have had that time already, so I don't have to have it when I am thirty something ;)

Got back to Hudiksvall at 6 pm to have dinner with my family. Filet of moose. Yummie! I have really been spoiled when it comes to meat, since my dad is a hunter. Meat direct from the nature! I actually don't like the meat you buy at the grocery store (pig, cow etc).... it doesn't taste anything compared to what I am used to...! The dinner was delicious! And great wine :)

After the dinner I took a taxi to town to meet up my friends Karin, Martina, Fredrik and Carro. I hadn't met them since summer! Soooo great to see them again. And later also Mina and Malin and her boyfriend Brynjar joined! I am so glad we still have contact, and that when we meet everything is like it always has been! Sometimes months and even years pass by between or meetings. Things change, but at the same time things don't <3 Karin, Carro and I have known each other since we were like 10 years old. Thanks for a great night!!

Woke up early today! Going to Söderhamn to meet Elin, Magnus, Liam and their new family member! <3 Exciting! Tonight, I will first have dinner with my family - filét of moose - and then try to meet up with Karin, Martina, Mina, m.fl at The Bell! So glad we all are in Hudiksvall now and can meet :)

Yesterday, I met some of my best friends! I hadn't seen them since July! Sandra and Mina <3 

Today, I'll try to find something in town to buy for my gift cards. I guess I'm not the only one who will be there.

Finally weekend! I really needed to sleep, and I did!! I usually get up at 5.45am during weekdays, and this saturday I got up at 1pm. Now, I feel human again :D The week went so fast, but a lot of fun things happened. Many nice meetings, dinners, news.

Carl and I had dinner in town yesterday. We went to a Tapas restaurant in Nörreport. Delicious and cozy environment. Even if we got the "wrong" menu, I think the service was great. Super nice waiter!

This morning, Carl got up early to go to Sweden and hang out with some friends. He's back in Copenhagen tomorrow, so this saturday its just me, myself and I. I have an article to finish, and some other things to do.

Thanks Johan for the postcard!! So happy for that!! :) I miss my friends. My friends from Umeå, Hudiksvall, Canada and other places. Come visit me!!!

My intention...

Monday. My intention is to write in this blog at least once a day now. Busy times. Get up at 5.40 am, take the bus to work, come home from work at 6 pm, (GYM after?!), finish dinner at 8 or 8.30 pm, TV, sleep. Thank god for the weekends :)

So this thursday I got up at 3.45 and went to Helsingborg, and from there with my colleague Björn to Skövde. We attended Apticdagen, by Aptic - a software program we use at our organisation. Since I work with communications, marketing, social media I felt a bit lost there among all facturing company representatives but I had fun anyways. I love to meet new people and learn new things. And also, it was a banquette later that evening and a party after that. Some of us stayed up until 4am. (Yes I was awake for 24 hours). Got up the day after at 7. My voice was gone, but many others were quite tired as well so.

This weekend Carl's sister Anna and her boyfriend Johan visited us. I was a bit sick (I always get sick when I sleep too little), but could join them on several activites anyways. Stayed home a couple of times. Yesterday, we went to the christmas fair at Tivoli. I love Christmas and I love tivoli. Too bad I was not in a very good shape.

FRIDAY!

Tomorrow, Carl and I have our move-in party :D It will be fun! Excited! A week ago it seemed like only a few people could make it, but now a bunch of new people have said they can come!!! We'll see where we go out... I don't really know this city yet. And I am used to live in a city with 2, maybe 3, alternatives. Kind of a difference :) I have notified our neighbors about the housewarming, with a note inside the front door to our building.

Today, I have continued writing on my application to a job I think could suit me well. Not much more. yesterday I got mail!!! And not an e-mail but a mail to pick up at "Posten". Mom and my best friend Mina have sent me presents! I am so happy <3 Mina knows I love Moomin and Iittala :D And from mom I got  a book from mom - 438 dagar (438 days) - by Martin Schibbye and Johan Persson who spent 438 days in prison in Ethiopia. Since she met them at the book fair in Gothenburg it is also signed! :)
